My creative process usually begins with a blank sheet of paper. I put on some music and start writing down as many ideas as possible. I don’t care if they are good or not, I just write them because anything could help my process. After that, I take time to sketch anything I feel could evolve into something meaningful. I like to take a break between brainstorming and sketching; stepping away helps me come back with fresh perspectives. Once I’ve narrowed down my ideas to a strong set of concepts, I move into production and begin crafting the final product. Afterward, I always take time to critique my work and refine it further.
I find inspiration in color. I enjoy associating different colors with objects, ideas, or emotions, and building concepts from there. For some reason, color schemes have always been an interest of mine, since I find that you can always think of them differently. Music also inspires me. It helps me visualize scenes, stories, and moods that I translate into visual form. I also love looking at others’ work; it pushes me to see from different perspectives and grow creatively.
I have many dreams for my professional career. Not only do I want to create successful and memorable work for the world to see but I would also like to make the world a better place by connecting people through my art. I would like to always keep learning new things and improving on all the things I do and will do.
